Recognized specialist in toddlers’ magic. Peter Din has pursued research work on babies for several years, in order to determine the contribution of magic emotion among all the emotions toddlers are able to discover. With the help of early childhood professionals,
he created targeted activities that he currently presents in childcare facilities. He is the author of La grande magie des tout petits in 2004 and L’atelier de magie sans larmes in 2008 in collaboration with Hervé Pigny.

From the foreword

I have been practicing magic for a quarter of a century, especially magic for children, and the greatest revolution in my approach to performing for children was to see Peter Din on stage, then read his Grande Magie des Tout Petits1, more than 15 years ago.

First, all magicians start being interested in a "trick", an effect, a procedure. Some artists think a little more and develop a scenario, a tale to take the children on a wonderful adventure. But only a handful will go farther, viewing the show as a succession of emotions, rather than a chain of narrative steps or, worse, a series of tricks.

In the book you are holding, Peter Din gives you all the tools you need to turn your magic approach upside down… and thus put it back in the right place!

Peter Din here presents very concretely everything you need to know to get started in this magic which is aswonderful as it is demanding. He suggests you all the necessary practical axes...

It’s up to you…
